As the title implies, QUICK…..What is your favorite design to quilt when you need to get something done quickly? My go to design is stippling (also called meandering). Another is to make a ribbon out of a simple stipple. Stipple first then go back and “catch the curve” to make it into a twisted ribbon. Easy and very fun! A third favorite is my “water stipple”. Instead of meandering all over, the lines are kept horizontal and look like water. The fourth favorite is a swirl or curl type design. I like how all these designs can fill up space fairly quickly! I’ll post pictures below.

Now for the CURIOUS…. I need your help….I have a product called Lickity Grip. I’ve had it for YEARS and use it when my hands are dry (especially in the winter) and it is hard to grip the fabric. I love using it on my hands when sewing on a binding. Have you ever seen this product or is there a similar idea out there??? I would love to hear of a product for your hands that you have used that works for you. Not gloves, though! I have gloves and I wear them on occasion.

#1- Find a quilting design that you can get in a groove and easily and quickly quilt!
#2 – I’m asking you for ideas of products that can be used on your bare hands to help you grip fabric. Especially in the winter when things dry out. It must be safe for fabric, non-toxic, stain-free, etc. You get the idea. Please pop your ideas in the comments! Thank you!
And a special HAPPY 64th Anniversary to my parents!! I’m so blessed to be with them in KC and to celebrate them with my sister and brother and our spouses!! LOVE can conquer so many things!!
