Did you miss me Tuesday…..you don’t have to answer that….I’m sorry to be a few days late. I was setting up for the AQS Quilt Week in Grand Rapids, MI. Today is the last day of the show. Great to see some familiar faces! Thanks for all who came by the booth! And all of you who came to the learning center for my presentation on Bindings. It is always a pleasure to hear how you love my Brilliant Bindings tool and how it has made your bindings easier to finish. I appreciate the feedback! I went BIG for the show. See my bigger booth below!
Tips this week will be slim…
What do you use to sign your quilt? I like a couple products. One is the Pigma Micron permanent pin and the other is Gelly Roll. Both are by Sukura! Do NOT use a Sharpie, they tent to bleed when written on the fibers. Another possibility is to embroider the tag. By hand or machine, both work great! Main emphasis…label your quilts!!

Great suggestion! Your mother started labeling her puzzle books pages with name and date after each puzzle she finished and she encouraged others also. I’m still doing my finished puzzle pages the same way. We’re not quilters but love them and that ‘s our way of leaving our mark!!
Think it’s only fitting that great quilters leave their signed labels on a quilt🤗
